I asked my cardiologist if there was an antidote yet and he said yes, don't worry. I have searched all over the web and cannot find anywhere there's an antidote. He was so quick to prescribe this drug and I was reluctant to start it. It makes me wonder if Drs are getting a kickback from the drug companies to push this drug. I was unaware I had AFib. I went for my yearly physical and I had never had any symptoms so naturally I was shocked. I asked the dr if I could take a baby aspirin instead but he was adamant that I take Xarelto.
Does anyone know of a safer drug, with an antidote, for AFib?
Thank you for any suggestions!
