I have the best results from Zoloft, but suffer from ED while on it. I have also tried Venlafaxine HCL ER ans Bupropion 150 mg with better ED results, but the don't stop my anxiety itching.
What antidepressant can I take without suffering from ED?

Well..I take nefazodone... which has rarely been associated with liver problems
... I have taken trazodone in the past... really helps with sleep but leaves you groggy the next morning..and buspirone,, a mild chill pill not as strong as SSRis but all without ED side effects
Have you asked your physician for hydroxyzine? An antihistamine with anti anxiety properties..but still an antihistamine..hopefully with anti itching properties..and there is always Benadryl, diphenhydramine which at the hospital I work at is indicated for itching and sleep
Hi- I am actually going cold turkey off of Celexa because it has indeed helped choke my sex drive to death. I was only on 10 mgs when I stopped, I started on 15 mgs and weened down to 10mg and doctor kept tellling me that my body woud get used to it, I waited and waited and 5 months later not a single feeling down there. Can't explain it, but you probably know what I mean. So, the alternatives I have heard of so far are wellbutrin but then usually , i repeat, usually,. not everybody responds this way, but you can turn into and anxious, and panic attacked jumpy person. It's a drag man, I know and my g-friend has been very sweet, loving and understanding but I can tell the lack of intimacy is putting a wedge between us, so talk to your doc and he may give you something else entirely or wellbutrin with and anti-anxiety to go with it.
I may go that route, since I am taking it for anxiety. Good luck mate, and good question, I just posted one quite like this an hour ago,…. Cheers, Rc4
