There are more antidepressants out there than I can list. You need to discuss this with your doctor about which one is best for you. Sometimes we have to try a few before finding the right one. Unfortunately it takes a lot of time because with each new antidepressant we need to stay on it for a few months before finding out if it works. Its all trial and error. Your doctor will determine which one he/she thinks is right for you depending on the severity of your condition. Like if you're a little depressed and can function throughout the day go to work play with the kids go shopping then you might be prescribed something like Paxil. Now if you're totally unable to do anything like get out of bed brush your hair get dressed then you might be prescribed a combination of meds. So be very thorough when speaking to your doctor. I hope you can find the right medicine and start feeling better soon. Best of luck. Pepper
