I have allergies and often use Loratadin or meclizine or diphendyramine; over the years with continued use do these harm the eyes? many, many thanks and blessings on your good work, sincerely, Ruth Baron
Allergy medicines are anti histamines, not anti cholenergics. Meclizine is both an anti histamine and an anti cholenergic, but it isn't for allergies. I don't know of any damage to the eyes from anti histamines. Possibly if they dry your eyes, your eyes could be unable to clear a foreign object like an eye lash, but other then that I don't know of anything.
