my wife has rhumatoid arthritis, and is on methotrexate and cimzia injections, and am looking for an antibiotic that she can safely take for an injury on her leg that may have a bit of infection. But also she is allergic to penicillin! I am trying to find out for my GP who obviously hasn't the time to scroll through possibilities. Many thanks, Mr R J Soper.
Looking for an antibiotic that can be taken that will not conflict with the medication below?

The person to go to with this is your pharmacist. They are the experts. There is no interaction with Keflex, however she would have to be careful with it because a small percentage of people who are allergic to penicillin are also allergic to kefles. She could take ones like cipro but her methotrexate dose would probably have to be reduced.
