... chest pains. I also take Imdur twice a day. Most of my arteries are occluded. I've had two bypass surgeries and multi. stents. The doctors tell me all that is left is to treat me with medication. I'm 68 years young, and the life I had is gone, I'm resticted in what I can do. i have good days but some days I can't walk from the couch to the bathroom without getting winded and having chest discomfort. When I see my doctor, he just keeps adding more pills . I tried Ranexa with no different , other than my pocketbook.
Angina - I wear a nitropatch which last 12 hrs but as soon as the patch starts to wear off. I have?

I guess I'm wondering if anyone else is in the same "boat" and if so, what has worked for you ???
Rita; I don't have the problems you do but have known so many people with these type heart problems I can't count. I want to say one thing but you get your doctor's okay before you do this or anything. Keep a record of when the patches seem to be popping out on you. And also make sure the patches are sticking right all corners must be down good on the skin or you need to tape them down some people with different brands have had problems in the past with a corner lifting and then you don't get the steady amount of medication in your blood. But you could also once you know about how early they are wearing out on you get the doctors okay to replace it about 1/2 hour prior to the time they start to give you problems. And I know you know but always rotate the spot you are putting them.Stay strong and hope for the best they are coming out with new type medications all the time that may help you more or you could also go to another doctor for a second opinion. all my best to you Chuck1957
I too have had multi stents but one triple bypass done, I think I have 9 stents now, I was having a lot of pressure and breathing problems, Indur helped but not totally.
What I have found though is when it happens I myself add to the problem because I get scared. All I can suggest is also trying to manage anxiety too. The one pill that did help me was ativan. I take ranexa too 1000mg twice daily, oh I'm 58.
I hope this helps some.
