I get irritated easily and once it gets to a certain point i cant calm myself down i was wondering medicines, if any, were out there to help with this
Chris, I wouldn't try settling the issue with medication... sometimes they will actually work against you and intensify aggression/irritability. I'd suggest finding a therapist first and talk with him/her about why you have such an anger problem and explore ways to help you calm down and get back in control of yourself WITHOUT medications. If the therapist thinks you may need some help doing that, then he/she will prescribe you something. It may sound strange, but people don't just get angry and get to the point of losing self-control without some type of underlying reason. You may know what that is or you could quite possibly have surpressed what the true reason is and need help trying to identify it. I hope this helps. Remember though, you need to seriously think about getting some type of help because angry people usually are prime targets for heart attacks and/or strokes. Good luck.
