I have been reading some research about anesthesia aborting migraines... Has anyone had any experience with this? Is it new? Promising?
I'm not sure what anesthesia you have read about, but I have been given occipital nerve blocks to relieve my migraines. The injection is given right at the base of your neck and further injections can also be given in the temples. The injection lasts anywhere from 8-12 hours. What type of anesthesia had you read about?
