Has anyone switched from androgel to fortesta? Did fortesta help when androgel wasn't quite doing the trick?
I have made the switch. Androgel was actually working for me but I did not like applying such a large quantity of the gel every day. With Fortesta, the quantity of gel is less than half and it is working quite well. My last levels of testosterone were right in the median.
i had to switch from androgel to fortesta because my skin wasnt absorbing the androgel and i went from t-level 687to 167
I did the opposite. I was on Fortesta (both actual and generic) with outstanding results and have switched to Androgel 1.62 because that’s what the pharmacy on the military post has.
Got my first blood work back and my levels are lower than pre-use. I’m sure the doc will have me add more pumps along with more blood work but I have to say I was happier on Fortesta as it is less gel with better results.
I've been on 4 pumps of Androgel daily, about 81 mg. This was from VA. The hospital on base that I moved closer to, has Fortesta. The doctor started me at 40mg a day. Does anybody know if this is just protocol, to start at, or is this an equivalent dose? He is being vague or doesn't know.
