I was on Androderm 4 mg patches but found them to be to expensive so I stopped using them a few months ago. My Dr. decided to try a injection of 200 mg of testosterone last Friday and have felt no difference in mood or energy levels yet. My levels were around 180 when last tested. Can I use Androderm patches with injections? I have a month supply of patches left. Will this provide me with to much testosterone? Is it safe to use together?
Testosterone is a naturally occurring sex hormone. The injection and Androderm patch (a topical form of testosterone) are used in men and boys to treat conditions caused by a lack of this hormone, such as delayed puberty, impotence, or other hormonal imbalances.
They should not be used together unless directed by your doctor. Misuse of testosterone can cause dangerous or irreversible effects. Never use more than your prescribed dose.
