do? and do I have to take them in the night( every 8 hours)? Would appreciate any ideas.
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic.
It's used to treat bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infections, dental abscesses and urinary tract infections (UTIs). The usual dose of amoxicillin is 250mg to 500mg taken 3 times a day.
The absorption and effect of amoxicillin is unaffected by food meaning you can take it before, with or after food. It does not matter.
However if you have a sensitive stomach it may be recommended to take with food. In this case a glass of milk or yoghurt is a good option.
