Among the tetracyclines i.e., oxy-, chloro-, and tetracycline which one is most active and why?

Tetracyclines are broad spectrum antibiotics whose use has declined over the years because of increased bacterial resistance.
Microbiologically there is little to choose between the various tetracyclines, the exception is minocycline which has a broader spectrum of activity.
