Amitriptyline - I had a car accident years ago that caused spinal cord damage. I'm blessed to be able to function but I struggle with Post Traumatic Concussion Disorder and back pain in two areas. Needless to say my doctors have me on a cocktail of medications. Recently, I decided to talk to my doctor about reducing the number of pills I take. I had been taking Trazadone to sleep. I titrated off. But then because of the pain, I would wake up all night so I was put on Amatriptylin. I already take 2 SSRI's (paxil and Lamotrigine) plus I take a pain pill and muscle relaxer every 6 hours so I can move around. I am concerned that the Amatriptylin will have an adverse effect. Does anyone know?
