it worked for me in the past. he will not tell me why he wont prescribe it. he put me on baclifin. it does not work. i looked up baclifin. it is in the same family as ambien. what do you do when the doctors are ablivious to ambien withdrawal. i tried to talk to him about the ambien. he yelled at me and asked why we were talking about ambien. i cannot change docs right now. i am assigned to see a heart doc. but i know its the ambien. i have been in er three times since going off. high blood pressure and dehydrated. the er wont listen. they keep saying its my chronic pain. but i am not pain. the sponser on this sight. all they say is tell your doc. well thats bull! someone who is going through this hell. please answer me so i can be on this blog. thankyou.
Soma has become a controlled drug so they will not prescribe it. I don't know what you mean about baclofen and ambien being in the same family. Ambien is a sleeping pill, baclofen is an anti spasmodic. Ambien is supposed to be short term. How long have you been without ambien? Were you on soma? Baclofen and soma are in the same category but they do not act the same way. You can't drink fluids? I have no idea why you would be getting dehydrated. Your dr is ignorant and should not have taken you off the ambien abruptly, and he should be listening to you when you speak. However, withdrawal shouldn't be causing high blood pressure. What kind of dr is he? What is an foc? Drs are getting away with treating us like crap because of the war on drugs that has become a war on us. He should not have kept you on ambien for more then 2 weeks, so he needs to taper you off of it, not just stop it and refuse to listen to you.
