I am almost SURE that your records , ALL of them, are
considered YOUR property. You will have to sign a release,
and sometimes they might charge a fee. If you get a copy ASAP
after it arrives in the doctors office, I would not expect a charge for
it, but you can always ask prior to having ANY TEST DONE,
that you want a copy of ALL tests, sign a " release to PATIENT",
which may apply for up to a year.

I'm SO GLAD I helped you! $5 is kinda PRICEY, but
I'm sure you could kick and scream and get it for free???
By the way, FYI: in the future, when you have dr orders to get X-rays, bloodwork,
or any out-patient tests done, IF you WANT your other specialists, caregivers to
all be on the same page with ea. other, JUST TELL THE TECH OR WHOEVER
IS PROVIDING THE SERVICE TO SEND COPIES TO WHICH EVER
DOCTOR YOU CHOOSE! It saves alot of time cutting thru the
red tape in the long run. Let THEM do the leg work!!
