... I should start to take this on day 1 of my period I don't want to wait another month(taking it for acne) would there be side effects if I start it now
You will completely mess up your cycle if you start before Day1 of it, meaning the first day of your period. If you read the pamphlet about Alysena, it says this
"1. THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR MENSTRUAL PERIOD
(BLEEDING) IS DAY 1 OF YOUR CYCLE. Your doctor may advise you to start taking the pills on Day 1, on Day 5, or on the first Sunday after your period begins. If your period starts on Sunday, start that same day. If ALYSENA™ tablets administration is initiated after Day 1 of the first menstrual cycle or postpartum, contraceptive reliance should not be placed on ALYSENA™ until after the first seven active
tablets have been taken for seven consecutive days. Nonhormonal methods of contraception ( such as latex
condoms and spermicidal foam or gel) should be used for the first 7 days of tablet taking."
So, you can start on Day 1, Day 5 or the Sunday after your period. If you don't start on those days, you run a much greater risk of having break-immune bleeding and messing up your cycle.
If you're going to try to take it continuously (without the 7 day break for your 'period'), it may not matter which day you start but you'll probably have a lot of breakthrough bleeding.
