I have been taking alvogen brand endocet (round yellow ish with an A on one side) for over 4 years, then my pharmacy closed there doors on the first of the year without any notice to there customers. I have asked other pharmacy's about alvogen endocet and they say they are not available. I know there is a lot of talk about how generics are all the same but over the last 15 years I have tried all the generics, well most, and I can take one alvogen 10-325 and get pain relief where as I take two amneal brand and I feel nothing in relief of my pain. Im hoping someone can shed some light on this question as to if the alvogen endocet are still on the market?
I have has chronic pain since 10 years and was also using Percocet Alovgen 10/325 for about 3-4 years and the last 4 months my pharmacist hasn’t been able to get any in! You are correct about generics they are not all the same and no it’s not all In your head! 2 months ago he gave me Ammeal they were like taking a placebo no relief from pain! However I tried Camber they are yellow not real long but thinner (and shorter) than ammeal, and the month before ammeal I don’t know what they were besides weak! I have spoke with my doctor about the different generics and he said there is definitely a different, not sure they are as regulated by FDA as much as they say they are, I have had some literally like taking a placebo pill. No relief from the chronic pain. I have spent the day calling pharmacies to see if anyone carries them and to no avail, will do the camber again and I am also going to check into mail ordering !! Good luck
