Hello, my name is Paul. I have been diagnosed with Chronic pancreatitis. I am currently on opana 40mg 3 times a day. But, this pain is still horrible. The doctor has been giving me stronger and stronger meds opana 40mg being the strongest. We have been looking for somthing that works for a year now. I need something stronger and cant keep going in for an appointment then suffering for a month until my next appointment. The pain is chronic. Please help!!!
Paule111: Sorry you're having such a problem, But there are so many strong medications like this one that this would knock most people out. There really is not a real quick answer to this you might see what your doctor has to say. Put a call in now and let the doctor know that the increase is not helping at all and what would be the next step. Or does he or she think to go to a pain clinic that there are a lot of doctors that work just with chronic pain patients? Best of luck to you. But give the doctor a call because he or she may want to just add something to it and see if it well help you that way. Many times there are medications that make pain medication work stronger.
