I am currently taking Synthroid for an underactive thyroid. And have been on this dosage for nearly two years. I have been recently drinking 4-7 glasses of almond milk a week. Could this interfere with my thyroid medication?
Am not sure. But I know almonds do not. Soy products do. So check your almond milk label. Remember that this has higher calories than milk. More sugar. Just don't drink it when you take your med in the morning and wait the two hours or longer after before using a soy product. Again, I am not sure. A call to a pharmacist may help best. They are trained to know interactions.
I have been on synthroid for years and I like almonds and could eat a LOT of it and it never interfered with my thyroid blood results
