Doctor prescribed me Augmentin, as a kid I had a allergic reaction to Ceclor. She was aware of my allergy. Went to the pharmacy to pick it up and they told me I'm allergic to some of the ingredients because of ceclor. I mean, what should I do?
I wonder if they are confused because a small percentage of people who are allergic to penicillin are allergic to ceclor. But it doesn't follow that if you're allergic to ceclor you may be allergic to penicillin.
I'd call a different pharmacy and see what he says.
