I am allergic to asprin however it has come to my attention it may be the preservatives, salt or binders Need information on Aleve ASAP
You are best to call the manufacturers directly.
I take generic Aleve (naproxen sodium) it contains no aspirin but there can be a cross allergy in people who are allergic to aspirin. This list doesnt come from the name brand so I dont know if ALL the ingredients are the same but it is supposed to be comparable to Aleve. It contains Naproxen sodium 220mg as the active ingredient and FD&C Blue No.2 aluminum lake, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethyline glycol, povidone, talc, titanium dioxide. This may or may not be exactly the same as Aleve but it should list all of the ingredients on the side of the bottle or box they are purchased in.
Have you had any allergiy tests done? I am so allergiec to everything that one allergy doc said I should live in a bubble! Coudn't for years figure one out & it was corn starch that is used a lot as a binder in meds. Preservatives too. You can have your meds compounded by a pharmatist. It's kindof expensive around here. There is only one pharmacy where I live that will do it & it cost an extra $50. per script. So I just take an allergy pill 1 hour before I take my meds. Works ok most of the time. I use either benadryl at nite time or allerfed(Actifed)during the day because it doesn't make me sleepy like benadryl can. Just a thought... Mary
