i am a veteran suffering from genital warts, the va has turned me down for service connected disability, because they state that i would have had to use intermittent systemic therapy using a cortcosteroid or other immunossuppressive drug for a total duration of less than six weeks during the last 12 months . but my va dermatology doctor has had me using aldara for a period of 8 months can u please help me clarify the usage difference of 6weeks versus 32weeks.
Here you go, it is an immune response modifier. Are they saying you have had to use treatment only 6 weeks in the past yr? Its the VA. You can't logically explain what they do. It seems the primary goal is to get out of paying veterans for things. This isn't new. My ex and I are both vietnam era vets, he being a vietnam vet. They had a heck of a time getting any help for the things that developed from that service. About 6 mos ago, I got a questionaire from the VA that they are doing a survey on women who served during nam. Only 40 yrs to late to really be of any help.
