Was on concerta at 54 Mg's 2x's a day. After 2 years, it stopped working. Tried adderall but could not tolerate the hesrtburn. Then focalin xr, did nothing. Now I'm on my 2nd week of vyvance at 70mg's & I feel like I need a higher dose-- but 70 is Max dose-- what can I do?? Is there a short acting Vyvanse ? It's definitely working but by 4 PM, i am completely ehaused & eat like a pig!! Help!! Any answers would be helpful!! Thank You in advance!! I don't think my doctor will prescribe much more but going from 108 Concerta to 70 Vyvanse seems to not be equal-- I did read that soon, there's s'posed to be an increase in maximum dose RE Vyvanse--
Summerten; YOU CAN'T EVEN COMPARE THE MG ON different drugs it's like a apple to an orange the only thing you can really do is talk to your doctor about how the Vyvanse is working for you. With some people. I have heard that even after regular use It seem's to kick up longer so keep trying it for now. What would happen if you tried to take it a couple of hours later in the day So it would last a few hours longer in the area you want it to. Only other thing is have you ever tried the long acting Ritalin? But first I would give the Vyvanse a little longer trial.
