I had a vitrectomy about 2 weeks ago and i am scheduled to fly to europe in 2 days, what should i know

This is VERY important that you discuss this with your ophthalmologist (your surgeon) Most wont let you fly right after vitrectomy especially if you have gas or oil injected back there because flight can change the pressure within your eye and can cause serious complications! DO NOT FLY without talking to your surgeon-it is possible that you could lose the eye so it is a SERIOUS matter.
