Had MRI - some arthritus in hip - Dr perscribed LEVETIRACETAM after reading about drug It doesn't appear to me this drug fits. Does it?
Levetiracetam is an anti-epileptic drug.
Levetiracetam is used to treat partial onset seizures in adults and children who are at least 4 years old. It is also used to treat tonic-clonic seizures in adults and children who are at least 6 years old, and myoclonic seizures in adults and children who are at least 12 years old.
Some antiepileptic medicines are used for pain relief, but I don't think this one has been used for pain.
