i take ambien around 10:30pm and i am awake by 12:00am and then i am getting up all night every 30 min or every hr feeling restless. It used to be the best sleep ever. Is this because I have been taken ambien 10mg for about a year?
Regular ambien is noted for if you wake up your up and then there is ambien cr continuous release if you wake up you can go back to sleep so the cr is defintely the better one. I used to get up and do weird things on ambien when I woke up. I ate I drank I walked outside I moved furniture and finally I fell down 15 steps and shattered my wrist broke the other and had a torn rotator cuff maybe you could consider something else melatonin and benedryl help ambien will note the sleep amnesia as part of it's side effects too late for me I was told to see a priest for my abnormal behavior on ambien. Seriously watch the ads the come right out and say it and don't let your doc tell you it doesn't happen it has totally changed my life i can no longer lift more than 5 lbs and have CRPS meaning my brain never forgot the pain and I am constanly in pain and on more narcotics than you can imagine just to get through the day Hope This Helps
yes jaford, I believe so, it is happening to me again. You build a tolorence up from it. My father has the same exact problem too. I have to switch every 2/12 month to rozerem, thats all insurance can cover for 2 weeks and go back on the ambien. I'll be starting it again tomorrow nite I hope it works. ANd yes see if they can cover the ambienCR 12mg it will help you stay asleep, I hope. Good luck and goodnite.
