Okay, so, I had an Obgyn appointment yesterday. She did a pelvic exam for my yeast infection. After I left, I have had such bad pressure in my lower abdomen. I'm bleeding from down there now. And it feels swollen on my labia and surrounding area. And it burns now. Which it wasn't before. Is this normal? Or should I be worried.
That's not from the pelvic, it's from stress. It sounds like you've not had a pelvic before so you're probably just a little freaked out. You don't even have to be aware of it consciously. I know it sounds strange to talk about feelings you're not immediately aware of but that's kind of how it works. Just give it a couple of days. Maybe you just have some stress or maybe you do have an infection or something but it's very unlikely she'd not have spotted that. You should just relax and maybe take some Midol for the inflammation or some Advil or something. Midol can help a little bit because of the acetaminophen in it combined with caffeine. It's not just for cramps, it can have an anti-inflammatory effect too. Just try not to stress too much. This is something young women need to have done at some point and it's a little stressful sometimes. I think you're okay, I really do.
