200mg twice daily for knee and leg pain
You are on the max dose so changing the dosage is not an option. Celebrex is a nonsteroidal anti inflammatory which should help within the first few days. If your problem is not related to inflammation and arthritis, then it is not likley to address. I take Celebrex and while it doesn't address all my aches and pains it definitely reduces them. Give it a week and see how it does, if no change contact the doc.
