I was rear ended by a semi truck 4 weeks ago. I am getting adjustments 3x a week and massage 2x a week. My range of motion has improved, but I still have a lot of pain, tingling in hands and feet and throbbing in my shoulder. Do I need to see another Dr? My chiropractor says she does not need to re order X-rays as I am showing improvement.
Kristy; The one thing I would be concerned about is medical records from an MD Doctor, What if the pain does not go away the Truck drive and his company or Insurance company like even now should be taking care of your Chiropractic bill's But I feel you should also have a regular doctor look at you and take X-rays along with continued use of your Chiropractor. Also if the Insurance company is involved you have to be very careful that they are paying all your medical bills, And are you working? If it were me make sure you keep copies of everything. Just to make sure all we'll be okay. And seeing an MD is better proof and they have more pull than a Chiropractor. I have seen so many terrible things happen to people. Now don't get me wrong myself I am very much against all these people the sue over the littlest things this is why our Insurance is so high both medical and car Insurance but you must protect yourself and don't be in a hurry to sign off on anything until you are satisfied that you are back to as close to normal. But they should be taking care of any of your medical bills due from the accident, Or if you are unable to work full time. But anyway there is nothing wrong with getting a second opinion. Also get this approved by the Insurance company so they know they are liable for taking care of your medical bills. Hope this makes sense to you. And if I have read this right you accident was almost a month ago so you want to have everything in order,Just in case just let the Insurance company know that the Chiropractor is helping a lot but you thing you need to see a Doctor now to double check that everything is in order and to help you get something like an anti-inflammatory medication to help with the pain in the joints. Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery. Chuck1957 But you do have to protect yourself you only have one body that has to last you a lifetime, And if it was the Trucks fault you want them to have to take care of any and all medical bills.
