How soon does the effect of estrogen take to help vagina atrophy?
Osphena (ospemifene) is a non-estrogen medication that is used to relieve pain during sexual intercourse. It reverses certain changes in vaginal tissue caused by menopause. Studies show that after 12 weeks women taking the drug had a statistically significant improvement in their symptoms.
