I've been told there are some vitamins that can help the problem and would appreciate knowing more about that.
Hello - In some cases Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) will disappear without treatment, or you may require some wrist splints day and night ones. I had CTS last year in both hands and it eventually went away after a few months just by using the splints, which where fitted by a hospital. Some people find moving their hand or shaking their wrist can often help relieve the symptoms also hanging the affected arm over the side of the bed can help whilst you sleep. There are other treatments such as acupuncture that might help too. Regarding vitamins. Vitamin B6 deficiency has been associated with CTS, however one should have this checked to see if this is an issue as high doses of vitamin B6 can cause nerve problems. Also there is a maximum daily amount of this vitamin as with most vitamins. Vitamin B12 is also said to help with some CTS symptoms, but I don’t know a lot about this one. Your Dr may be able to advice you better regarding this treatment option – All the best, take care.
