My husband has most the signs of broad spectrum autism. No eye contact, doesn't communicate well, if he does at all. Has a routine he follows Every night without deviation. Doesn't care to be hugged or touched much at all. The only time he can start a conversation is if he's talking about his favorite music. He just always seems uncomfortable out of the house. I have family members that brought it to my attention becuz she has a 14 yr old that was just diagnosed with Asbergers. Can he b diagnosed at 31?
Can an adult be diagnosed with broad spectrum autism, if no diagnosis was made as a child?

Sounds like you married my ex, lolol... There are things as an adult that it could be. The only way he's going to get it figured out is to see a dr. My grandson has asberger's and yes he acts like that, but he was diagnosed early on. I picked up problems at 2 yrs old (I was working in a school with asberger kids at the time). He couldn't be tested until he was a few years older.
