I just received an adderall xr from my friend. It is suppose to be 30mgs but it does not say that anywhere on the capsule. It does however say the adderall xr on the capsule and it is orange with orange beeds in it. Can it be a fake? Do all capsules usually say the mg's on it?
hi kevin... i am prescribed adderall xr by my doctor and will tell you that if it is a brand name (Shire) adderall capsule, it will say both Adderall and the dosage strength on it. I take the XR 20 mg and my capsule says Adderall XR at the top of the capsule and 20 mg towards the bottom of the capsule. You said your capsule says Adderall XR on it, so that means it is the brand name, and orange with orange beads is accurate, too, the Adderall XR is printed on the one half of the capsule and the mgs should be printed on the bottom half of the capsule, as mine says 20 mg on the bottom. I don't know why it would not say it on the 30 mg capsule. It's possible you got a 20 mg and they wanted to charge you for a 30 mg so they used rubbing alcohol and took the numbers off... Also, I have to say, I totally agree with Kaismama! I have been taking this medication for almost a year now, and it has been a long road of trial & error with my doctor... it is NOT a drug to be taken lightly, and if taken for diagnosed ADHD as is the case with me, it's a life saver... i could not imagine taking this drug recreationally... a very dangerous and stupid thing to do. i also could not imagine buying them off of low life punk pill dealers, for some likely price of $5-$8 or more a pill, when with a valid prescription I get a month supply for $5-10... be careful... it's a road to hell if u take these things recreationally and end up addicted...
