I have a few questions for you regarding the 2 anyone who has tried both please reply how do they compare mg per mg as far as strength, potency length of time its effective. Im speaking of the ir version. any side affect any personal experiences i dont like how adderall starts and stops to quick for me makes me want to vomit but after the climb i feel fine.
Hi toddcas - They are roughly equivalent, with Ritalin dosage being typically between 5 - 40 mgs/day and Adderall being between 10 - 60 mgs/day, each given in 2 or 3 doses, not to exceed those totals above. But, be sure to check with your Dr. Pharmacists can also be very helpful with this type of information. Also, check with Pharmacist to see if the filler or binder used in the Adderall (Amphetamine Salts) could be the cause of your nausea, if you are taking the generic version because I don't experience that with the Adderall I need to take. Actually, I was switched from the Dextrostat to the Adderall and I never feel anything at all on either one!
