Believe it or not you have a responsible doctor. It's always better to start off small then increase it as required. If you go back to the doctor now and said "this website told me I need more" will just about doom your chances. Presumably you need to see the doctor again for follow up. Tell him/her the absolute truth; he/she has heard every drug seeker story you can imagine.
If you are a younger person you don't want all your medical files to be flagged because of a simple request, misunderstood or not.
I have some minor adult ADD and I wouldn't touch the stuff these days.
Just a simple request after 2 weeks saying you don't feel much different. They will ask some questions and probably put you up to 10 mg. They want to avoid you getting anywhere near recreational amounts at the start of therapy.
