... very hard to stay off of it but my blood pressure can't handle it. Please if anyone has advice on what I can do or something I can take to help me stay off adderall, I would be grateful. Thanks
I had been on Adderall for a short time and had to wean off. It was a struggle but it gets better. I recently went back on it because I truly probably need it for life. The key is to wean slowly. Your doctor will help you with that. After that long, your brain can't regulate nor epinephrine or dopamine. It relies heavily on the drug to squeeze it out. You have to train your brain to produce neurotransmitters naturally again. It can take up to 18months to recover.
