I was diagnosed with herpes hsv 2 six months ago and have had at least seven outbreaks since. I have been taking vitamin d, vitamin c and lysine tablets but nothing seems to help. Was now considering taking acycloviar as a suppressive twice a day like my doctor advised me to. Just wondering will this affect my health in the long run? I've heard it's better to not take medication and let your body build up it's own defence is this correct? When do the outbreaks slow down help?
When you take the medication the dr wants you to take. How is waiting for your body defenses to take over working out for you? 7 outbreaks in 2 months is a heck of allot of outbreaks to suffer thru. Take the acyclovir you'll feel much better.
Take the Acyclovir, and you want break out so much.
