hi,,i am female 24years old.. i have acne started 7 years ago,,i have tired alot of medication even RETAIN A... with temporal improvement then the condition worsen again because of stree of the exam,,and i have pco and i am taking oral contracepitive pills to treat it..my hair also started to fall in abad way,,so i wana ask if aldoctone will help me??and if the oral contracepitive pills worsen the condition of acne and hair loss??thnxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi, actually your birth control pills will improve your acne no matter which brand it it. As far as the hair loss, the birth control pills can be a contribute to that. I am sorry I can't answer aldoctone question. I don't know what that is.

but the hair loss strated when i took the contracepitive pills..but i think i make a wrong link between my hair loss and the pills... but i think that my hair loss and my acne problems is because i feel depressed and so sad and feel stressed for 7 months till now

Yes it causes loss of scalp hair; which is a less serious side effect... I am truly sorry

really thank you for your care... the brand name of the contraceptive pill is (yassmin)my doctor told me it the most safe for me to avoid the side effects of the rest of the oral contraceptive pills..like weight gain,headache,nausea... and so on... i took it for 3 months till now,,and i must take it for 6 months,,
i have tired with my doctor so many product to treat my acne with no result..my dermatology told me the reason for my acne reappear and hair loss is the contraceptive i took,,but my gynacologyist told me its not the reason...
