I have had this condition on and off for 3 months. I have tried the meclizine 12.5 mg and it makes the bouts more severe. This condition started with an inner-ear infection.
Acetic acid/ is this medication good for treating bouts of vertigo?
Added 12 May 2010:
I am being seen by ENT, he referred me to an audiologist for a hearing and balance test (CAE/ENG). Her diagnosis was Benign Parxysmal Vertigo ICD9:386.11. Some one I know recommended acetic acid. She also suffered with vertigo and her doctor prescribed 5 drops in her ear and she said she has not had a bout for five years.
I am not sure that this would help.
Have you though about seeing an ENT (ear nose & throat) specialist?
