Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone - can a doctor prescribe vicodin for muscle spasms along with depression?

Yes, a doctor might prescribe vicodin for the pain as a result of the spasm, but more likely will want to prescribe a muscle relaxant. Either are ok along with depression unless you are not stable.

Laurie has told the first part. I have the second. When taking n antidepressant with something powerful like Vicodin, you must be very careful with alcohol use. It can cause reduced breathing when asleep. This must be discussed thoroughly with a doctor.

And as Laurie says, this is not a likely combination. Please write f you have more questions.
