I took 2 pills at 3:30pm today. I finally got relief for about 5 hours. Now my migraine is back. Can I take another pill to ease the pain?
It depends on how much acetaminophen each pill has. You can take as long as you do not exceed the maximum daily dose of acetaminophen (4000 mg/24h).
If its the standard mix of tylenol250, aspirin 250 and caffeine65 then you can take 2 pills every 6 hrs the directions are on the label.
Just some further info from the FDA website: "Severe liver damage may occur if you take • more than 4,000 mg of acetaminophen in 24 hours • with other drugs containing acetaminophen • 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product.”
