Can a yeast infection cause one? I've had two abnormal paps one after I had my daughter in 2011 and than another in May "12" they want me to have a biopsy, idk if I should or not
Kaismama is right. It is better to be overly cautious than sorry! Yeast infections can cause inflammatory cells to show on a PAP but this is different from abnormal cells. If they are seeing abnormal cells, do not hesitate to let them biopsy. Cervical cancer is very treatable when it is caught early and the prognosis is better the earlier it is caught! Be safe, not sorry! You have a baby that you need to stay healthy for!!!
