... I have been in and out of the hospital in the last 3 weeks. For the same symptoms. In the hospital they put me on a liquid diet, on pain medication like oxycodone and others. I can't stand this pain anymore. Any suggestions?
My sister has that also and I had to take care of her for a few weeks when she came out of the hospital. The best thing that helped her along with the meds is support I know that sounds crazy but if you can support your stomach with a girdle like apparatus then it won't pull, or hurt as much. Also ice the area it gets all those nerves and blood pulsating areas to calm down. I hope this works for you. Also try talking to your doctor about other meds to control the pain. Muscle relaxers that help with the tense area, anti inflammatory meds etc. I hope you are okay! I hope this helped. You can use a ace bandage to support the abdominal area that works as well but a girdle works great too.
