i mostly suffer from constipation but i dont have heart burn or reflux. it seems that the food i eat stays in my intestines and my whole stomach gets bigger.
Try taking a stool softener, like Colace, and a fiber supplement like Citrucel or Benefiber and be sure to drink at least 64 oz of WATER every day. The water is necessary to make the fiber work to clean out your intestines and have softer stools. Most people get constipated because they dont drink enough water. Soda pop and other soft drinks dont help as well as water and tea or coffee actually makes you dehydrated so it really needs to be water.
