I read somewhere that a double dose of plavix was not recommended, it was not twice as good as a single dose. any comments?
75 mg is the dose that she should be taking and 150 mg can cause a stomach bleed and will do no more for her then the required dose of 75 mg. The normal dosing for a patient is 75 mg of plavix and 81 mg coated aspirin. What is your grandmother's condition and why has a doctor given her a double dose of plavix?
