Yrs. I am concerned that the dosage of Adderall and Vyvanse are equivalent to each other... he is a high functioning autistic and communication is hard sometimes so what are some warning signs I should look out for... he is now on 20mg of Vyvanse and was on 30mg of Adderall in the morning and 15 mg in the evening... does anyone know if this was or is and equivalent switch...
Bsmyers101; Your nephew is going to be fine sounds like the Adderall was no longer working as well and the doctor wants to change to a different medication all you can do is try and see how it works out.And there is no way to compare these two medications they are totally different medications. This would be like comparing a Potato to a Tamato it can't be done they are for similar things but different medications and the mg means nothing. Good luck just tries him out on this and see how he does the doctor may have to make some adjustments or add something you just have to take a wait and see approach at this time. Merry Christmas and I hope this helps him out for now Chuck1957
