My 8 year old grand daughter put this in her eye thinking it was regular eye drops. Can it hurt her?

It will probably be ok, just flush her eye with water. All I can find about pediatric use is don't use in infants.

No, it shouldnt hurt her but she may have blurred vision and sensitivity to sunlight until her pupil constricts again. She may stay dilated for 24-48 hours or she may be okay after 8-10 hours. Some people clear this medication faster than others. Oh, she may feel a little headache with it as well.
