Dear T, welcome to our site. I listed my whole subs story, taper schedule and tips in my profile. I tapered slowly but came off subs fine. Please click my avatar to read my profile story. You could also read Used2be, ski 801 and UNLVGRAD's profile stories. They are all off and fine as well. You came to the right place. Let me know if you have any questions AFTER you read the profile stories, i say After, as many questions you might have will be in the story and the answers are in there. Patti
I got on Suboxone, which is the same drug as subutex only with a narcotic blocker added to it. I started on 8mg a day, 4mg in the morning and 4mg in the evening. After about a month I stared taking just 4mg a day and about a week later I went down to 2mg a day and I never had a problem. I'm still on 2mg a day but I will be detoxing from that very soon. Just try it and see how it goes. Your time frame may not work exactly the same as mine did but you can work it out. Now tapering from 2mg to nothing I haven't done yet so I can't speak on it from experience but I think you can surely taper down to 2mg with out any real problems. You work it out according to how you feel. Take care,
