It is small, so the doctors want to "watch it". Is that safe? Can they put a stent in, or do they have to do a bypass to repair it? I don't feel good about their "wait and see" attitude.
If it is small, it is best to just watch it. It is quite a surgery to repair it as the abdominal aorta is the main vessel bringing blood to the lower body directly off the heart. An aneurysm in this area is a little pouchy area where the vessel wall has weakened. Many people have them and never even know it.
