My 7 year old granddaughter is stuffy all the time. She's given antihistimine & Flonase every night before bed. I'm concerned about the side effects. She has many many stuffed animals in her room which is so cluttered that I know it is seldom dusted. Could these be the main reason for her problem and the meds are just an easy bandage for the situation. I advised them to clean the room thoroughly and remove the stuffed animals which carry dust mites but of course they think it's cute for her to have and sleep with all these stuffed creatures. They won't listen to me. Please help! Worried!
A good clean would be ideal, that is my opinion. I hope your granddaughter gets well soon, again I agree with you with regards to a thorough cleaning.
The first thing to learn about grandchildren is that you raised your child. This one is not your child. Fussing just ticks them off and gets nothing accomplished. I am a grandmother of 3, now adult grandchildren, and they survived without me constantly nagging at my daughter.
Stuffed animals can be washed.
